ATTENTION: TUMBLR USERS IN NORTH CAROLINA

The North Carolina General Assembly has introduced a constitutional amendment to the North Carolina State Constitution which would “provide that marriage between one man and one woman is the only domestic legal union that shall be valid or recognized in this State.”

Voting on the amendment is at the 2012 PRIMARY on MAY 8th, not in November.

Aside from the obvious discriminatory nature of the amendment, it is poorly worded and thought out and would harm the rights of ALL couples.

Remember to vote ‘AGAINST’ this amendment.

JK Rowling had considered killing off Ron Weasley while writing the Harry Potter books, and recently she also admitted that Hagrid almost didn’t make it through the series as well!

Of course. If Rowling had followed the alchemy structure she’d set up in the first books, Rubeus (red) Hagrid would have been the red death following the black death (Sirius Black) and the white death (Albus Dumbledore). And Ron would have been the death of the body, leaving heart and mind to go on and finish the job, just like she foreshadowed in the first book.

But Rowling let that structure fall apart in the name of her insipid romances.
